General duty

Polish revenue stamps for general duty
Year of issue: 1921-1923

New stamps were produced with different eagle designs and a variety of perforations.

Because of the after-war currency inflation, more series were issued. A new perforate series with similar designs (the previous three stamps), but with more detailed eagle feathers, different colours and the eagles now have a magenta background with vertical blue lines. Perforations range from 10½ to 14½.

Inflation continues. Similar eagle designs. The rectangular shape at the base of each stamp is now used to print the value.

More inflation. Similar eagle designs and new eagle designs for the higher values. In the rectangular shape at the base of each stamp, the value is still printed.
