Franciszek Żwirko (1895-1932), Polish pilot.
Stanisław Wigura (1901-1932), Polish airplane engineer.
Franciszek Żwirko and Stanisław Wigura won the Challenge Cup in 1932 in their RWD6 airplane. Less then a month after the Challenge Cup, Franciszek Żwirko and Stanisław Wigura died in an accident in Terlicko, Czechoslovakia on 11 September 1932.
Jerzy Bajan and Gustaw Pokrzywka won the Challenge Cup in 1934 in their RWD9 airplane.
RWD are the initial letters of Stanisław Rogalski, Stanisław Wigura and Jerzy Drzewiecki, the designers of the airplane.
