Ostrów Mazowiecka is a town northeast of Warsaw.
In Ostrów Mazowiecka, Generalgouvernement Warschau overprints (Michel 6-10 and 12-16) were additionally overprinted "Polska", "Poczta", two thick bars and "Ostrów" using typography (size: 18 x 18¾ mm). The overprints are black. There are two types of Ostrów Mazowiecka overprints, known as Ostrów Mazowiecka I ("Poczta" with an upper case "P") and Ostrów Mazowiecka II ("poczta" with a lower case "p").
