Breziny is a town east of Łódź.
In Breziny, Russisch-Polen overprints (Michel 1, 2 and 4) and Generalgouvernement Warschau overprints (Michel 6-10 and 12-16) were additionally overprinted "Poczta Polska" and the Polish eagle (length "Poczta Polska": 11½ mm, size of the eagle: 9 x 7 mm). The overprints are generally violet, rarely red. Overprints with the eagle turned upside down and overprints with no eagle are also known.
