The hyperinflation is overcome by the introduction of a new denomination, the Gulden. Mixed usage of old and new denominated stamps was possible between 31 October 1923 and 2 November 1923. 200 Million Mark was equal to 5 Pfennig. 100 Pfennig was 1 Gulden.
