Glossary

Łódź is an industrial city southwest of Warsaw.
The monument for Tadeusz Kościuszko on Liberty Square (Plac Wolności) in Łódź was unveiled in 1931. It is a sculpture created by Mieczysław Lubelski. The monument was destroyed by the Germans during the World War II and it was restored in 1960.
