The neutral Warwiszki zone was occupied by Polish troops in the beginning of the year 1923. On 18 April 1923, Central Lithuania ceded to Poland.

Polish stamps, Fischer 136-138 (Michel 172-174), were overprinted "Samorząd Warwiszki" (Warwiszki Zone).
